We have been so impressed with our chef, Sam, since he joined our team over a year ago that when our kitchen manager gave up her position it was a no-brainer to promote Sam to the position of Head Chef. Sam has a wealth of experience at many highly regarded fresh food restaurants and pubs locally as well as in Central London so now that he has freedom to express himself, expect the quality of the meals served at the Ailsa to get better and better. We have a very broad menu including our speciality gourmet pizzas - if you think you have tried a good pizza, come to The Ailsa and prepare to try the best!

We also recognise that you should always wash your food down with a suitable beverage....The Ailsa also offers a wide range of Wines from around the world as well as a selection of Kentish Real Ales, we always stock Spitfire on tap and lagers including Asahi and Kronenbourg. We also have a great selection of after dinner drinks, including over 30 different single malt whiskys.
