Test your brainpower with sport, entertainment, music and general knowledge questions - the Ailsa Quiz beats all others. We start at 8pm and finish with enough time for you to either revel in your intellectual victory or kick yourself for the answers you convinced yourself you knew!.

Traditional Sunday Roast

To avoid disappointment you should phone ahead to book a table (0208 891 1118). Our stunning new improved traditional Sunday Roast brought to you by our popular new chef, Luca. The kitchen is open until 5pm on Sundays, giving you even more time to get to the Ailsa to complete your weekend in a way no other meal ever truly does.

 Twickenham Stadium

Ailsa Tavern is just down...          this road.

The Ailsa serves homemade food (even our barbecue food on game days is freshly prepared in our own kitchen) and top notch beer, close to the stadium - Perfect!

The Ailsa is 13min walking distance (less if you hurry and a little more after a few beers!) from Twickenham stadium. As you can see, we are located in a different direction to Twickenham Rail Station (which would be off the left of this photo). We are close enough to be a very busy pub with a great atmosphere on game days, but you don't have to fight 20 men to get to our bar and we serve our beer in a real glass. So whether you want a three course lunch with full table service or you just want to grab a top quality burger and a few pints, we are the wise man's choice for pre and post game refreshments. If you are travelling by train, give Twickenham a wide berth, get off at either, St Margarets and wander down the road, or Richmond and cross the river at Richmond lock, and give the Ailsa a try. Our customers think we are the best kept secret in the area and we are quite proud of that so if you have just discovered us, do come along, just please don't tell everyone.
